THE BURTON AMP JACKET
Burton Snowboards and Apple® today unveiled the limited-edition Burton Amp, the world’s first and only wearable electronic jacket with an integrated iPod™ . The Burton Amp is a durable waterproof snowboarding jacket made exclusively for use with iPod, Apple’s wildly popular portable digital music player. The Burton Amp and Apple’s iPod together make it effortless for snowboarders and others to control their music from right on the sleeve of their jacket without fumbling with zippers, gloves or pockets. Riders simply touch the control pad on the jacket sleeve to change songs or volume levels, while the iPod is held safely in the jacket’s chest pocket. What do you think about this new technology? What do you think they could do to imporve it, and would you buy this jacket ? Do you think it was a good idea for apple and burton to co-brand?

First off buying a Snowboard isn't as easy as it used to be,there are about 50-100 different Snowboard companies out there competing for your hard earned cash(or your parents). When you go out the most common types of snowboards you will find are Freeride boards, Freestyle boards, Backcountry boards ,Park/Pipe boards ,Kids boards,Womens boards ,Boardercross boards and Signature series boards. When buying a snowboard you will need a few questions to be awnsered , which thankfully you know all the awnsers too,Your weight, height, foot size and riding style are the main factors .The riding style you prefer will help determine the type of board you should buy .A snowboard costs between $99.00 and $1000.00. This buying decision is directly related to how much money $ you can spend on your snowboard. Most Snowboard companies offer a selection of boards at different prices. The higher end boards are usually called Signature Series and are designed by a pro rider and usually carry their signature. So hopefully when you go out to get your new board this season these tips will help you pick a board that is perfect for you.
